AHHS Announces 2024 Amateur/ Junior Exhibit Futurity Fund Raising Event

Mar 19, 2024

The AHHS National Futurity Fundraising Event Exhibitor Challenge Auction is now open for bids!

We have 15 exhibitors to be auctioned off to the highest bidder on 32 Auctions. The auction will close on March 22, 2024 at 8:00 PM EST. Each amateur will compete from March 1 to November 1, 2024. During this time period, the exhibitors will accumulate points by winning classes throughout the time frame (even one entry classes count towards a win). The exhibitors with the most wins as of November 1 will be declared the winning exhibitor. The person who “purchased” the winning exhibitors will receive 50% of the total amount raised in the auction and the Futurity will receive the other 50%. The winning exhibitor will receive a prize and each exhibitor participating will receive a participation prize as well. The standings of each exhibitor will be updated throughout the year via various online and/or print platforms.

If you have any questions, please email Taylor Gregory at ahhscsl@qx.net or Melissa Moore at mmoore8059@aol.com.

The AHHS would like to thank each of the exhibitors who volunteered to participate in this fundraiser! Happy bidding to all!!

The AHHS Limited Breeders Sweepstakes held on March 8 & 9 at historic Fasig-Tipton was a huge success! Approximately 140 people attended the Friday evening social event held in the Fasig-Tipton walking ring and enjoyed the taco bar catered by Holly Hill Events and the live music. On Saturday morning, the AHHS Annual General Membership meeting was held in the Sale Pavilion, followed by a luncheon, which was impeccably catered by Holly Hill Events. After the luncheon, the stallion service auction was held. There were 49 quality stallions available for bid. The stallion service auction raised $54,225. A live merchandise auction and silent auction were held concurrent with the stallion service auction and raised $18,900 and $5,570 respectively. The Freedman Harness raffle sold out and raised an additional $5,000. The total raised was $83,695. The AHHS and the AHHS Limited Breeders Sweepstakes Committee sends a huge thank you to all of the sponsors, stallion donors, attendees, bidders, and buyers who made this another outstanding year! Planning has already started for 2025!
